The facts that matter often go unnoticed.
-In 2022, 1.7% of injuries sustained by victims of violent crime in Canada were caused by a firearm, according to Statistique Canada
–A Special Request to Statistics Canada by Justice for Gun Owners indicated that from 2000 to 2020, an average of only 12 PAL-holders were accused of homicide per year, out of approximately two million licence holders.
-According to police data, the rate of firearm-related violent crime was 36.9 incidents per 100,000 population in 2023, much lower than violent crime involving another type of weapon (254), such as a knife or club, and violent crime involving no weapon (1,080)

You May Not Own a Firearm, But The Problem Is Relevant.
Imagine waking up to a government order demanding that every gasoline‑powered car you own be turned in because the engine “hurts the planet.” You’ve undergone the training needed to earn a license. You’ve paid taxes, passed your driver’s test, kept the vehicle spotless, and rely on it daily for work, school runs and family trips. The decree offers only a modest rebate—far below the car’s true value—and makes no distinction between a low‑mileage commuter and a reckless driver.
Now replace the car with a legally owned firearm. You bought the gun, completed safety courses, registered it and store it responsibly—just as you lock a car in a garage. Yet, because a minority of criminals use guns, the government proposes to seize every private firearm, offering a token buy‑back that barely covers the weapon’s cost, your training, or its cultural significance for hunting and sport shooting.
In both cases the state punishes every law‑abiding citizen for the actions of a few, stripping away essential tools while providing inadequate compensation—a stark example of an overreaching, blanket policy.

Founded by three Canadians with a shared national conscience, we believe lawful firearm ownership is part of Canada’s history and culture. We oppose legislation that unfairly targets lawful firearm owners and advocate for evidence-based policy, responsible ownership, and the protection of rights and freedoms in an increasingly unstable global landscape.
